Track progress and revise as needed * Meet mandatory continuing education requirements * Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating and performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease * Provide appropriate plan, treatment, and evaluation for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with appropriate tests and measurements. Maintain pertinent records of specific tests performed and progress made * Communicate and educate family concerning patient deficits, ways to facilitate treatment, and appropriate discharge plans * Promote company mission and administrative policies to ensure the quality of care Requirements:  * Current Texas State License as Speech Language Pathologist * Current Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation * One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Pediatric experience required * Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills * Knowledge of durable medical equipment * Able to work in a patient's home in various conditions * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Proof of current CPR certification * Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing.
