The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Vice President of Construction and Development. As Vice President, you will serve as a key member of Delaware North’s leadership team and be responsible for the oversight, planning and estimating, constructing, purchasing, and delivering capital construction projects throughout Delaware North. You will provide leadership and oversight to ensure enterprise construction projects and building services at Delaware North corporate offices are being managed with the proper framework, scope, quality, timelines and budgets.

Located in Buffalo preferred. Will also consider major hub locations including Boston, Florida, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $219300 - $301500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities

• Maintain frameworks, standards, and governance processes to drive practical business solutions for capital construction, ensuring compliance with budget, time, scope, and quality standards

• Partner with and educate business units to drive the capital construction agenda, emphasizing adherence to budget, schedule, scope, and quality requirements

• Establish repeatable and sustainable construction processes, fostering cost savings and maintaining project quality across business units

• Plan, estimate, and deliver value from developing or redeveloping Delaware North facilities to ensure an exceptional guest experience

• Provide leadership on critical organization-wide projects, collaborating with executives, senior leaders, consultants, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project goals

• Manage project managers and contracts for architects, engineers, and contractors, overseeing the procurement process and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy for successful implementation of construction projects

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.

• A minimum of 10 years of related experience in the hospitality industry, including strategic support of senior executives aligning capital construction, program management and managing finances aligning strategies with business priorities. Experience with $200M + projects is preferred.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience desired.

• Experience in successfully leading capital construction design and build function and managing in an environment undergoing change and transformation

• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across functions.

• Travel: 50%
