Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a growing company in Dallas to identify an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Receivable Specialist must have 5+ years’ experience in accounts receivable. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain up-to-date billing system

• Generate and send out invoices

• Follow up on, collect and allocate payments

• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

• Perform account reconciliations

• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities

• Research and resolve payment discrepancies

• Generate age analysis

• Review AR Aging to ensure compliance

• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records

• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.

• Process credit card payment

• Prepare bank deposits

• Investigate and resolve customer queries

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally

• Assist with month-end closing

• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 5 + years in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial roles.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition concepts.

• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
