The Assistant Director serves to support the key operations of the Office of the Vice President for Facilities & Economic Development at UT Dallas ( VPFED ). This position provides support for all budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and revenue enhancement efforts within VPFED . This position will also maintain responsibility for purchasing, inventory and digital/physical records maintenance for contracts and real estate records. In addition, this position will serve as a VPFED liaison for human resources and staff training and will play a key role in the management, coordination and execution of VPFED events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience providing direct supervision to student or staff employees

  • At least 3 years experience of lead event planning and coordination experience

  • PeopleSoft experience
