Robert Half is hiring for a skilled Collections Specialist to manage our client's accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving outstanding payments.

Responsibilities:

Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue payments

Negotiate payment plans and terms with delinquent clients

Maintain accurate records of all collection activities

Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and proactively address payment issues

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes

Provide regular updates on collection efforts and escalate issues as needed

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve collections processes and reduce delinquency rates

Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software preferred

Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus
