We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Facility Engineer within our M&C group based in Houston, Texas.

 

Description:

 

Accountable for the successful development and execution of projects in support of oil and gas production for the Delaware business unit.  Projects includes production surface facilities, pipelines and gas processing facilities.  Systems include piping, oil/water separation, oil and gas dehydration, vapor recovery and gas handling, design pump and compressor systems, manual and automated well testing systems, control system upgrades and power supply and distribution projects. 

Qualifications

·         BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)

·         Minimum 2 years of oil and gas experience including project management experience

·         Expertise in project management principles including estimating, scheduling, and implementation

·         Experience in operations and maintenance

·         Ability to lead multi-discipline teams, including company and contract personnel

·         Independent self-starter with strong interpersonal skills

·         Excellent communication skills with an enhanced customer focus

·         20% travel to field locations in West Texas/Eastern New Mexico

Additional Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in MS Office Suite

·         Proficiency in process simulation software including ProMax, HYSYS, PIPESIM

·         Proficiency in project management software including MS Project and/or Primavera P6

·         Extensive knowledgeable in Industry Codes and Standards including ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, Section VIII, API 5L and 2000, NACE MR-0175

·         Extensive knowledgeable in regulatory and environmental permitting requirements in Texas and New Mexico

·         Extensive knowledge of Management of Change, hazard and operability study and pre-startup safety review
