Description

We are a reputable professional services firm in Scottsdale, AZ, seeking a Contract-to-Hire Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage software and a strong background in bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes using Sage software

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements

• Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger maintenance

• Handle payroll processing and payroll tax filings

• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

• Collaborate with external accountants on tax filings and audits

• Provide support for other finance and administrative tasks as needed

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the professional services industry

• Proficiency in Sage accounting software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Experience with payroll processing and tax filings

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications

This is a contract-to-hire position located in Scottsdale, AZ. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a key role in our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial management. The role is fully in-office.
