Job Summary The Technology Business Partner (TBP) will play a key role in aligning technology strategies and initiatives with business objectives. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role requires a critical thinker who can effectively partner with Regional Leaders and Administrators to drive organizational performance through the effective deployment of technology. The Technology Business Partner is also a key player in the specification and effective use of our Enterprise Applications. This position is supporting our WA region facilities. We have locations in Tacoma, Issaquah, Bellingham, Burien, Seattle, Sequim, Shoreline, Port Orchard, Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Bring the 'voice of the customer' back to the enterprise technology group by spending time at each facility on a regular basis and meeting face-to-face with regional leaders. Through this process, the TBP understands business needs and translates those into technology requirements. It is expected that the TBP builds strong relationships with all leaders in their regions. To be an effective liaison, the TBP will need to learn the Skilled Nursing Facility systems and processes at a deep level. This will require spending time at the facility, talking to staff members, and shadowing them to understand where they hit roadblocks that technology could address. Be a subject matter expert in key components of the organization's enterprise architecture. The TBP understands key business applications (Electronic Medical Record systems, financial systems, HR systems, corporate productivity systems associated with our Microsoft suite of tools, analytic systems, etc.). While a given TBP may not have deep expertise in all those systems, it is expected that between the two TBPs, there is strong coverage of expertise across the organization's business applications. Be an escalation point for issues the business is having that are not being satisfactorily resolved via the ticketing system. Working with the rest of the Technology Group orchestrate as well as provide direct effort towards application-related tasks: selection, optimization, cross-application interface, business analytics, training, etc. Support other Technology Group committees relevant to the delivery of technology services (e.g., security council, project teams, Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the Technology Group and services performed; supports the Technology Group in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
