JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Biology has a need for a qualified instructor to teach an undergraduate course this upcoming academic year. Our teaching portfolio is diverse and ranges from courses that deal with cell and molecular biology to ecology, evolution, and quantitative biology. The format of our courses is varied, ranging from traditional lectures to online education. Many of our courses have a laboratory and/or field component. We deliver courses for Resident Instruction, Continuing Education and World Campus. We are currently seeking an individual to teach a 3-credit upper-level human physiology lecture course (Biol 472) during the summer term. This course will be offered online in a non-synchronous format. Applications will be reviewed on a continuing basis; preference will be given to qualified applicants who have a Master’s degree or higher and teaching experience in the life sciences. These are semester-long or academic year positions, with the possibility of re-hire, depending upon departmental needs.
